Football Recap: Mount Vernon Comes Up Short

Mount Vernon lost against New Rochelle two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Knights fell 18-6 to the Huguenots.

Mount Vernon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6-1. As for New Rochelle, they pushed their record up to 11-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Mount Vernon will host Scarsdale at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders will roll in looking for their 15th straight win, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight. As for New Rochelle, they will venture away from home to take on Clarkstown at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
