Basketball Recap: Illiana Christian Comes Up Short

Illiana Christian was the 69-49 winner over Hobart when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Illiana Christian Vikings fell to the Hobart Brickies 59-54. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hobart's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ryan Basham led the charge by going 7 of 15 en route to 19 points. Aidan Leonard was another key player, dropping a double-double on 11 points and ten boards.

Illiana Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Hobart, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-7.
