Football Recap: Irwin County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Irwin County's offense. They were outmatched by the Worth County Rams and fell 28-0. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rams apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Worth County was led to victory by Lyndon Worthy and Kaden Chester. Worthy threw for 216 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 76.9% of his passes, while Chester gained 105 total yards and a touchdown.

Irwin County's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Worth County, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Irwin County will host Schley County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Worth County, they will be playing at home against Dooly County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
