Volleyball Recap: Clearfield Comes Up Short

Clearfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Woods Cross Wildcats. If the Falcons were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Clearfield now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Woods Cross, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 18-1.

Clearfield didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Providence Hall on the 3rd. As for Woods Cross, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Manti on the 3rd.
