While Eagan put up some runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Rosemount. The Wildcats came out on top in a nail-biter against the Irish, sneaking past 1-0. While the Wildcats didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Andrew Liekis looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single walk any time he's pitched this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Eagan and bumps their season record up to 4-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Rosemount, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
