The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Fort Wayne Bishop Luers in their matchups with Homestead: they've now lost seven in a row.
Despite the loss, Fort Wayne Bishop Luers still got an impressive performance from Maggie Parent, who scored 12 points along with nine rebounds. Those nine rebounds set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Annika Davis, who scored nine points along with five rebounds.
Fort Wayne Bishop Luers' loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Homestead, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fort Wayne Bishop Luers won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Fort Wayne North Side at 12:00 p.m. on December 16th.
