Football Recap: Throckmorton Comes Up Short

Throckmorton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Harrold Hornets, falling 80-30. The Greyhounds lost against the Hornets in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 39-33 score last time.

Throckmorton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Harrold, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Throckmorton will be playing at home against Bryson at 7:30 p.m. on the 12th. As for Harrold, they are taking a road trip to challenge Northside at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
