Basketball Recap: Rossview Now 10-1 over Last 11 Games

It was a Battle of the Birds when Rossview faced off against Northeast on Tuesday. The Rossview Hawks put the hurt on the Northeast Eagles with a sharp 54-29 victory. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 30-6.

Despite the loss, Northeast still got an impressive performance from Qimara Summers, who posted 13 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Niemi Evans, who had two points and six rebounds.

Rossview is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season. As for Northeast, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-16.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Kirkwood the next time they take the court. Northeast will host Kirkwood at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Rossview will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on February 4th.
