Baseball Game Preview: Vasquez Mustangs vs. Littlerock Lobos

The Vasquez Mustangs will head out on the road to challenge the Littlerock Lobos at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. Littlerock took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Vasquez, who comes in off a win.

Vasquez took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They walked away with a 6-2 win over Desert Christian.

Grayson Thomas was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Emmitt Murillo, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Littlerock came up short against Claremont on Saturday, falling 13-2.

Littlerock's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Vasquez, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7.
