Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Groveton

After losing to Farmington the last time they met, Groveton decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Groveton Eagles came out on top against the Farmington Tigers by a score of 59-52 on Friday. The victory was familiar territory for the Eagles who have now won three contests in a row.

Groveton is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Farmington, they moved to 7-6 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Groveton will head out on the road to take on Pittsburg at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Groveton has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Farmington, they will host Newmarket at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
