Football Recap: Agoura Drops Highest Score of Season Against Calabasas

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Agoura). They took their contest on Thursday with ease, bagging a 60-0 win over the Calabasas Coyotes. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Chargers considering their 12-point performance the matchup before.

It was another big night for Claire Heisinger, who threw for 392 yards and eight TDs. Her passing game has become a key predictor of Agoura's success: the team is undefeated when her passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 2-3 otherwise. Kaya Cummings was Heisinger's top target, picking up 81 receiving yards and three scores.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Agoura's defense and their five sacks. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Izzy Greene. Cummings got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Agoura is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 32.3 points over those games. As for Calabasas, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-13.
