Freedom Area benefitted from Patterson in 17-1 victory
Carlynton had no answer to Cody Patterson on Monday as he scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
Patterson's strong effort led Freedom Area over Carlynton and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Freedom Area is 4-0 against Carlynton going back to May of 2021, a lead they'll look to extend.
