Volleyball Recap: ThunderRidge Comes Up Short

ThunderRidge extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping them down to 4-11. They fell 3-1 to the Castle View Sabercats. If the Grizzlies were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Sabercats when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Brianna Nelson paced ThunderRidge's offense, picking up eight kills. Nelson got some help from Cambria Kelley and her 15 assists. Finally, Ellery Wolterstorff kept ThunderRidge's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.

As for Castle View, the win got them back to even at 7-7. Winning may never get old, but they sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Leading Castle View to victory were Kate Erickson and Bradli Brown. Erickson had seven digs and two aces, while Brown had nine digs and three assists.

ThunderRidge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Mountain Vista on the 6th. As for Castle View, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Rock Canyon on the 2nd.
