Wando came tearing into Saturday's match with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Hilton Head Island Seahawks by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in August.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Wando was: they took both sets by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-14.

Among those leading the charge was Violet Poole, who had seven digs and five aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last two contests.

Wando's win bumped their record up to 28-8. As for Hilton Head Island, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-21.

Coincidentally, Wando and Hilton Head Island will both be playing Greenville the next time they take the court. The Warriors will head out to face the Red Raiders at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Seahawks will play them later in the day, at 12:30 p.m.
