Basketball Recap: Carlyle Finds Home Court Redemption Against Greenville

There's no place like home for Carlyle, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They managed a 47-42 win over the Greenville Comets on Tuesday. Given the Indians/Lady Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 90th, while the Comets are ranked 253rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Carlyle's victory bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Greenville, they dropped their record down to 14-9 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Carlyle won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Breese Central at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Greenville, they will face off against North Mac at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
