Softball Recap: Adirondack Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Adirondack can now relate to. They lost 7-1 to the Notre Dame Jugglers on Friday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Allison Croniser spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and four unearned) runs on six hits and racked up seven Ks.

On the hitting side, Adirondack saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brea Barrow, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Skyler Green was another, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Adirondack's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Notre Dame, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.

As of now, neither Adirondack nor the Jugglers have any future games scheduled.
