Basketball Recap: Southbridge Takes a Loss

Southbridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 61-40 to the Nashoba Valley Tech Vikings.

Southbridge's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Nashoba Valley Tech, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-9 record.

Southbridge and Nashoba Valley Tech could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Massachusetts Rankings. Southbridge will square off against Grafton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday down 191 places (288 vs. 97). Meanwhile, Nashoba Valley Tech (ranked 287th) will meet Notre Dame Cristo Rey (ranked 139th) at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
