Volleyball Recap: Sierra Zelenak Key Part of Team Effort in Bulldogs Win

Stow-Munroe Falls won the last time they faced Roosevelt and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bulldogs blew past the Rough Riders 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Stow-Munroe Falls walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-17, 25-15, 25-19.

Stow-Munroe Falls' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sierra Zelenak led the charge by getting four digs and two aces. Those two aces gave Zelenak a new career-high.

The victory got Stow-Munroe Falls back to even at 2-2.

Stow-Munroe Falls and Roosevelt will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Bulldogs will square off against rival Twinsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Roosevelt is set to challenge their familiar foe Revere at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
