Wilson fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Central on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 60-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Central Wildcats. The Warriors' defeat signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Wilson's loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 11-3. As for Central, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wilson and Covenant Christian will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Central, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Central Wildcats duke it out with the Lauderdale County Tigers at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
