Guajome Park Academy came into Monday's game looking for another win against Warner, but Anthony Porras wouldn't allow it. The Wildcats walked away with a 48-39 win over the Frogs on Monday thanks in part to Porras, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Airin Dominguez, who posted six points along with nine boards and three steals. He is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Guajome Park Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Matthew Valenzuela, who scored 14 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ezra Baker, who had six points and 14 boards.

Warner's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Guajome Park Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Warner will take on Liberty Charter in a tournament on Thursday. As for Guajome Park Academy, they are taking a road trip to face off against High Tech NC at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Raptor have been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
