Thomas Sumter Academy better focus on containing J'Syri Parker and Cholly Williams as the pair were huge in Orangeburg Prep's win. Parker rushed for 139 yards and one score on only ten carries, while Williams threw for 132 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 77.8% of his passes. Williams' passing game has become a key predictor of Orangeburg Prep's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 110 or higher, but only 1-3 otherwise.
Orangeburg Prep was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 249 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.
Special teams played a big role in the game for Orangeburg Prep, adding 12 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Council Burroghs, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
