Basketball Game Preview: Bath County Chargers vs. Meadow Bridge Wildcats

The Bath County Chargers will head out on the road to face off against the Meadow Bridge Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bath County will be strutting in after a win while Meadow Bridge will be coming in after a loss.

Bath County will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up 28 points last Wednesday, then bounced right back against Craig County on Monday. Bath County walked away with a 56-43 victory over Craig County. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Chargers' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Meanwhile, Meadow Bridge took a blow against Sherman on Friday, falling 70-41.

Bath County's win bumped their record up to 4-12. As for Meadow Bridge, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-14.

Everything came up roses for Bath County against Meadow Bridge in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 55-21 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bath County since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
