Softball Recap: Sandy Takes a Loss

Sandy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tualatin Timberwolves. The contest marked the Pioneers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Sandy's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Tualatin, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sandy will square off against West Albany at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Tualatin, they will face off against Glencoe at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Timberwolves' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tide have averaged an impressive 8.9 runs per game this season.
