Softball Recap: Armstrong Extends Winning Streak to Three

Armstrong extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping their season record up to 7-7 in the process. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Chrisman Cardinals. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Trojans also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2023.

As for Chrisman, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4. The matchup marked their lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

For Chrisman's part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brianna Barna, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Armstrong will square off against rival Watseka at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Chrisman is set to face off against their familiar foe Milford at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
