Soccer Recap: Ottawa Hills Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Ottawa Hills was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They fell just short of the Clay Eagles by a score of 2-1. Ottawa Hills were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Clay apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Ottawa Hills now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Clay, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Ottawa Hills has already played their next game, a 0-0 draw against Southview on the 23rd. As for Clay, they will square off against Napoleon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Napoleon will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Clay surely won't give up without a fight.
