Chaparral won the last time they faced Grandview and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Wolverines came out on top against the Wolves by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolverines.

Chaparral had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-14, 25-20, 25-14.

Chaparral can attribute much of their success to Ava Johnson, who had nine digs and three aces. That's the most aces Johnson has posted since back in November of 2024.

Chaparral's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Grandview, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Chaparral will take on Castle View at 8:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Grandview, they will face off against Palisade at 8:00 a.m. on Friday.
