Softball Recap: Acton-Boxborough Falls Short of Bridgewater-Raynham in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Acton-Boxborough can now relate to. They came up short against the Bridgewater-Raynham Trojans on Sunday, falling 13-3. The Revolution have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Georgia Ammendolia made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That double was her first of the season.

Acton-Boxborough's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Bridgewater-Raynham, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

Acton-Boxborough does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bridgewater-Raynham, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 4-1 victory against Central Catholic on the 2nd.
