Soccer Recap: Citrus Hill Comes Up Short

Citrus Hill lost against Arlington on January 7th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Citrus Hill Hawks fell just short of the Arlington Lions by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 497th, while the Lions are ranked 24th).

Citrus Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6-9. As for Arlington, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-1-2.

Citrus Hill has already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Paloma Valley on the 28th. As for Arlington, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Hemet on the 27th.
