Prouty proved they can win big last Wednesday (they won by 24) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 50-47 win over the Blackstone-Millville Chargers. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 67-30 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Blackstone-Millville lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Karson Cournoyer, who posted 14 points. Another player making a difference was Jackson Dunton, who had 13 points.

Prouty has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.8 points over those games. As for Blackstone-Millville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-8.

Prouty does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Blackstone-Millville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Maynard on Monday.
