            Softball Recap: Concord Academy Eagles vs. Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors        
        
		
        
        
            Concord Academy barely beat Metrolina Christian Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp  11-0 victory on Tuesday. That 11 run margin sets a new team best for the Eagles this season.
 Caisyn Berg made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits while striking out eight over 4.2 innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with one  run and one  RBI.

 In other batting news, Concord Academy let  Milee Amburn and  Kaiah Cadet run wild. Amburn  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with three  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  double, while  Cadet  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double. Those  three  runs gave  Cadet a new career-high.  Anaiah Cadet was another key player,  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances with two  stolen bases, one  run,  and one  double.
 Concord Academy  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .576. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Concord Academy's win  ended  a  four-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 5-8. As for Metrolina Christian Academy,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 5-13.
 Concord Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Metrolina Christian Academy, they will take on Greater Cabarrus S at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
