It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Sterling had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They blew past the Gunnison Cowboys 3-0. The win was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on ten straight.

Gunnison lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Aubriel Loken, who had 17 digs and three assists. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last four times she's played.

Sterling's victory bumped their record up to 20-6. As for Gunnison, with the loss, they broke their 11-match winning streak and moved their record to 20-6.

Sterling didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Alamosa on the 13th. As for Gunnison, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Resurrection Christian on the 14th.
