Volleyball Recap: Moapa Valley Takes a Loss

Moapa Valley lost against Valley two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Pirates took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brigham Whitmore paced Moapa Valley's offense, picking up five kills. Whitmore got some help from Spencer Stolworthy and his 11 assists. Tag Jensen controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Moapa Valley's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Valley, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-8.

Moapa Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Eldorado on the 19th. As for Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Boulder City on the 19th.
