Softball Recap: Person Takes a Loss

Person was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 8-2 to the Roxboro Community Bulldogs. If the Rockets were looking for revenge after losing 14-4 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Madison Snead made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run. That home run marked the first that she launched this season.

Person now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Roxboro Community, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Coming up, Person will take on Southern Alamance at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Roxboro Community, they will square off against Falls Lake at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Falls Lake is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.
