Basketball Recap: Frontier Takes a Loss

Frontier played a tough contest on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Seeger Patriots, falling 59-25. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 50-19.

Lorelei Lanie had another great game (as she tends to do), shooting 74% from the field on her way to 29 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals for Seeger. Those 29 points gave Lanie a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Gillum, who posted 11 points and three steals.

Frontier's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Seeger, their win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-1.

Coming up, Frontier will square off against Tri-County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Seeger, they will face off against Fountain Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
