Softball Recap: Bedford Comes Up Short

After flying high against Maple Heights on Tuesday, Bedford came back down to earth. The Bearcats came up short against the Normandy Invaders on Friday, falling 15-4.

Skylar Turner made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with three stolen bases and two runs.

Bedford's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Normandy, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Looking ahead, Bedford is taking a road trip to square off against Ellet at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bearcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Orangement have averaged an impressive 12.5 runs per game this season. As for Normandy, they will head out to face off against Buckeye at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bucks will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Invaders surely won't give up without a fight.
