Algoma Christian won the last time they faced Fellowship Baptist Academy, and Makayla Afton did her part to make sure it happened again. The Algoma Christian Knights took down the Fellowship Baptist Academy Falcons 38-24 on Saturday thanks to Afton, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten rebounds. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

Another player making a difference was Aubrey Cook, who posted six points. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

The win made it two in a row for Algoma Christian and bumps their season record up to 9-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 18.0 points over those games. As for Fellowship Baptist Academy, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Looking ahead, Algoma Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Calvary Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fellowship Baptist Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
