Ryland Bradford Earns League's Top Spot

Starting off the list is Abilene's Ryland Bradford, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Bradford's receiving production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 113 receiving yards dating back to last season. He showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 69 yards.

The victory (which was Abilene's fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2. Bradford and Abilene will look to defend their home field on Friday against Tascosa at 7:00 p.m.

Ethan Joyner Delivers Best Performance of Season

Ethan Joyner produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Abilene to the win on Thursday. Joyner's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 116 rushing yards dating back to last season.

For the season, Joyner has run in 9 touchdowns while averaging 94.4 rushing yards per game.

Finch Posts Huge Game in 34-31 Victory

Thanks in part to Demarion Finch, Coronado said goodbye to their six-game losing streak. Finch was dynamite on Friday, rushing for 112 yards and three touchdowns, while also picking up 48 receiving yards. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in August.

Finch will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Amarillo on Thursday. The game will pit Finch up against the Sandies' star running back Jude Dunivin. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

A Season-Best Effort from Tristan Beal Leads Abilene over Lubbock

Abilene was led to victory by Tristan Beal, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Thursday. Beal threw for 340 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.0 yards per attempt.

On the season, Beal has thrown 11 touchdowns (and no picks) while averaging 122 passing yards per game.

Xavier Vargas Sets Career High in Rushing Yards

Caprock came up short on Friday despite Xavier Vargas delivering his best game to date. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 61 yards.
