Volleyball Recap: Grace Christian's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Grace Christian came tearing into Monday's game with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the John Paul II Catholic Saints by a score of 3-1. The Crusaders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Saints, too.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 27-25, 23-25, 25-11.

Allison LoChirco paced Grace Christian's offense, picking up 16 kills. LoChirco got some help from Maggie Glines and her 23 assists. Glines was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Grace Christian's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for John Paul II Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grace Christian will face off against New Life Camp at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for John Paul II Catholic, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Greenfield at 6:00 p.m. The Saints are facing the Knights at the right time seeing as the Knights are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
