Basketball Recap: La Puente Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last five matchups, La Puente finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a 71-29 loss at the hands of the Workman Lobos. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 898th, while the Lobos are ranked 381st).

With the loss, La Puente broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-11. As for Workman, their win was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-4.
