Perry entered their tilt with West Laurens on Thursday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Raiders. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in August.

Perry easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-19.

Perry's victory bumped their record up to 17-10. As for West Laurens, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-16.

Perry didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Houston County on the 18th. As for West Laurens, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Peach County at 7:00 p.m.
