Volleyball Recap: Independence/Gilmanton Starts off Right with Win over Shell Lake

Independence/Gilmanton gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Shell Lake Lakers by a score of 2-0.

Independence/Gilmanton never let Shell Lake on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-20.

Despite the loss, Shell Lake still got an impressive performance from Alexa Dahlstrom, who had six digs and four aces.

Independence/Gilmanton has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Cochrane-Fountain City on the 26th. As for Shell Lake, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Elmwood/Plum City on the 26th.
