Volleyball Recap: South County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

South County came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the West Springfield Spartans. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Stallions haven't been shut out since back in September.

While South County was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-13, 25-23.

Alexander Wolfson paced South County's offense, picking up ten kills. Wolfson got some help from Ritesh Pokharel and his 20 assists.

South County's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 19-6. As for West Springfield, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 17-6.

Coming up, South County will challenge Woodson at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. West Springfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
