Baseball Recap: Moapa Valley Comes Up Short

Moapa Valley fell victim to Sierra Vista and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 9-0 to the Mountain Lions, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Pirates have struggled against the Mountain Lions recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Moapa Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Sierra Vista, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-7.

Looking ahead, Moapa Valley will challenge Boulder City at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Sierra Vista, they will take on Bonanza at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
