West Orange owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They walked away with a 4-0 win over the Centennial Eagles. Winning may never get old, but the Warriors sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

The result came thanks to Nicolas Caso's shutout, as he gave up just two hits and racked up ten Ks. Those ten strikeouts set a new season-high mark for him.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Kas Ocasio, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played. Aiden Schwartz also deserves some recognition as he got his first hits of the season.

West Orange pushed their record up to 15-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Centennial, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7-1.

Coming up, West Orange will welcome Massapequa at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Centennial, they will head out to challenge Sebastian River at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Centennial is facing Sebastian River at the right time seeing as Sebastian River is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
