The Cape Fear Colts and the Havelock Rams squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Cape Fear Colts had to settle for second. Cape Fear fell 27-15 to Havelock. Cape Fear's loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

It was another big night for Lebron Sharpe, who rushed for 114 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for six yards and a touchdown while completing 100% of his passes. Sharpe has been hot recently, having posted 100 or more rushing yards the last four times he's played. Khimani Nolan made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

Cape Fear's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Havelock, they pushed their record up to 12-0 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home.
