Softball Recap: Anderson County Takes a Loss

Anderson County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Osage City Indians, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 on Monday.

Anderson County's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Osage City, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Anderson County will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Santa Fe Trail at 4:30 p.m. on May 8. As for Osage City, they will take on Wellsville at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
