Baseball Recap: North Callaway Comes Up Short

North Callaway lost against Moberly back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Thunderbirds took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spartans. The Thunderbirds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Carter Moore made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

North Callaway's loss dropped their record down to 16-4. As for Moberly, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 18 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-5 record this season.

North Callaway wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Fulton on the 9th. As for Moberly, they will head out on the road to square off against Non Varsity Opponent at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
