Volleyball Recap: The Cambridge School Takes a Loss

The Cambridge School was the 2-1 winner over Otay Ranch when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Griffins fell 2-0 to the Mustangs on Saturday. The shutout was out of character for the Griffins seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

The Cambridge School moved to 13-6 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Otay Ranch, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-13 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. The Cambridge School will host Victory Christian Academy on Tuesday. The Knights will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Griffins surely won't give up without a fight. As for Otay Ranch, they will square off against Sage Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
