Baseball Recap: Vineland's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Vineland fell victim to Mainland Regional and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Mustangs, falling 7-0. The Fighting Clan haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Vineland saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dawson Carter, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base.

Having lost for the first time this season, Vineland fell to 2-1. As for Mainland Regional, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4-1.

While Vineland had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
