Softball Recap: Germantown Mavericks vs. Clinton Arrows        
        
		
            
 Germantown put the finishing touches on their tenth blowout victory of the season  on Tuesday. They never let the Clinton Arrows onto the board and left with  a   10-0  win. Winning may never get old, but Germantown sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
  Ella Duhon was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with a  home run, five  RBI,  and a  stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of  Presley Merkich, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-4.
 Germantown has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won nine of their last ten matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record  this season. As for Clinton, they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 15-9.
 Germantown will head out on the road to  take on  Meridian at 6:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Germantown knows how to get  runs on the board -- the  squad has finished with flashy  run totals in its past five contests -- so hopefully Meridian likes a good challenge. As for Clinton, they will be playing at home against Pearl at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Clinton is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 8.7  runs per game  this season.
